What you may do

Use, copy and share the text — privately, in research and commercially too, for instance in a product, a service or a training. No application, no fee.

The conditions

Attribution — name Arian Mingo as the author, the-cogito.com as the source and the license, for instance: The Cogito · Arian Mingo · the-cogito.com · CC BY-ND 4.0.
No derivatives — you may share the text only unchanged. Trying out and studying your own variants is up to you; sharing them is not covered.

Not covered by the license

Name and mark — “Das Cogito” / “The Cogito” and “Build with Cogito” as marks remain reserved to the author. The license transfers no trademark or naming rights.
The other texts of this site (work, term, guides) — free for research, private and non-profit use, with attribution; beyond that by arrangement.

Authorship

The Cogito is by Arian Mingo. It was developed in collaboration with Claude (Anthropic); this site, too, was built with Claude. The English versions were translated by Claude on the author’s behalf and have not yet been proofread. The examples on the home page come from Gemini. Responsibility for the claims rests with Arian Mingo.
